Acceleration Shudder & Inner Tire Wear On The Model S and X
Tesla Model S/X Acceleration Shudder Vibration

Many all-wheel drive versions of the Tesla Model S and X suffer from what’s become to be known as acceleration shudder or vibration that comes from the front end of the vehicle while you’re accelerating.  This problem can also present itself as clicking or clunking sound from the front and often times while you are accelerating through a turn.  If you don’t have the issue yet, you quite likely will so it’s critical to prevent it before it starts to avoid costly repairs.  It’s important to note that vibration coming from the front of the vehicle could be coming from another source such as unbalanced tires or Tesla’s built in lane-departure warning, but that type of vibration would happen at different times and not just during acceleration.  If you have a vibration or shudder coming from the front of the vehicle while you are accelerating then you most likely have the common acceleration shudder problem, which is destroying your half-shafts (drive axles).

The source of this problem stems from the outer CV joints in your Tesla’s front half-shafts.  These drive axles transmit power from the motor to the front wheels.  However on a Tesla, the half-shafts are positioned at an angle that is too extreme for smooth rotation.  In other words, the front motor  sit up much higher than the front wheels so the half-shafts have to transfer the power at a steep angle down to the wheels below, which are well off-axis from the motor.   With such a heavy car, high torque motors and the steep angle of the half-shafts, over time certain parts inside the half-shaft will fatigue and become marred.  As the half-shafts rolls over these imperfections the car will have shuddering or vibration.  Ideally the half-shafts would need to be more on-axis to eliminate the cause of this issue.  That is where our Alignment Kit 1 can help. This kit lessens the steep angle of the half-shafts to reduce binding which is one of the main causes of internal damage.

Tesla does not currently have a permanent fix for this.  If you have this problem right now, Tesla will replace both half shafts and also install a new left front drive unit clevis mount.  This will typically solve the shudder problem for a little while but it will come back, from as quickly as 500 miles to as long as 10,000 miles.  Tesla may not cover this repair under warranty, because they consider this a “wear and tear issue” which is not covered.  Much like worn tires are not covered under warranty.  So you may have to fight, for them to replace everything for free.

An online poll suggests that approximately 70% of Model X’s have suffered from the acceleration shudder issue alone.  There is currently no permanent fix from Tesla.  N2ITIVE ‘s Alignment Kit 1 will reduce the premature wear on your half-shafts (drive axles) to help prevent the onset of this problem.  This kit allows your half-shafts to be more on-axis with your wheels to reduce binding that causes damage.

At N2ITIVE, we have engineered a kit to reduce the angle of the half-shafts which reduces wear and prolongs their life.  By installing our Alignment Kit 1, also known as our Acceleration Shudder & Inner Rear Tire Wear Kit we reduce premature half-shaft wear and completely eliminate the inner tire wear problems in one shot.  Installing our kit will pay for itself many times over during the time you own your Tesla in the cost of tires alone.  If you suffer from the inner tire wear issue that so many of us have then you could easily double or triple your tire life, since your tires will now be in a perfectly symmetrical alignment and wear evenly.  Beyond that, the safety factors alone are essential.    Everything you need is included in the kit.  Installation can be performed by the home mechanic or you can take it to a local alignment shop that has experience with installing and aligning adjustable control arms.

Tesla X and S tire blowout images

Our kit includes 3 main pieces for the 2012 -2020 models.  First is a set of our RSX series ultra-precision lowering links.  These allow you to easily and super accurately lower your Tesla slightly to help bring the half-shafts closer to a straight angle and reduce binding.  We recommend setting them to the -4 or -5 setting.  You can go lower if you want but the ride quality will suffer if you go too low.    Only a slight drop in vehicle height is required to reduce wear on your half-shafts.  Our links go down to -13 if you really want to go for the lowered look.  Our ultra precise lowering links are easily and very accurately adjustable to allow you to set the ride height of your choice.

Also in the kit for the 2012 – 2020 models is our new SX-2 and TSX-2 adjustable camber and toe control arms.  Both of these adjustable control arms are installed in place of your current rear control arms to allow you to set a perfectly symmetrical alignment.  For the 2021+ model S and X Teslas the kit will come with our RSX series lowering links and our new SX-P2 rear adjustable camber arms.  The 2021+ kits do not come with adjustable rear toe arms sine the OEM rear toe arms are already adjustable.

The end result of having the it installed is a car with, significantly improved tire wear, reduced binding and wear in your half-shafts, increased firmness for far better handling and agility and improved aerodynamics.  Plus you’ll get better mileage than the same Tesla without our kit.  Even if you don’t yet have the common front end acceleration shudder/vibration it’s worth installing this kit to help prevent your expensive front drive axles from wearing out prematurely.  If your half-shafts are already showing signs of wear they may need to be replaced.

N2ITIVE’s Alignment Kit 1 comes in three variations. All of the adjustable control arms in the kit come with custom made spherical and annular bushings.  The standard anodized versions are fabricated primarily of a super strong forged and heat treated high grade aluminum and anodized in a matte red or natural finish for great corrosion resistance.  These come with a 6-year warranty.  The lifetime warranty version now comes with our patent pending multi-alignment bracket on the camber arm as well as a natural anodized finish for the 2012-2020 Teslas. For 2021 and later Teslas, we have an electroless nickel plated black finish and will soon offer a flat black anodized finish. We are in the process of phasing out our nickel plated arms.  Either way you can’t go wrong.  Both versions are stronger than any other brand, including Tesla’s own. Many of the photos on the website are very outdated but we will send you the latest version of whatever parts we have.

All our products are made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship for years of endurance and come with any necessary hardware for easy installation.  After purchase please have the installer and alignment shop visit our installation pages to make sure they install and align the kit correctly!   If you need anything, our customer support is always available.  Contact us with any questions.  We’re here to help!

UPDATE June-26-2022: Almost 2 years after installing the N2itive Kit. I have attached photos of my rear tires. They have about 10k miles on them. The last set lasted about 45k.
Perfectly even inner tire wear on a Tesla Model X with N2itive Camber Kit

I am glad I purchased these. My Model X suffered from the famous front end shudder. I have had 5 sets of replacement front shafts and motor mounts installed, but the shudder was never totally gone. The guidance given to me was to set the suspension to low. The only problem with that is that the lower I set the car, the more it wore out the inner edge of the rear tires. Without trying to address the front end shudder by setting the suspension to low, the rear tires already had excessive negative camber that wears out the inner edge of the rear tires. These camber arms along with the toe arms allow you to totally take care of the issues and get the tires set at a good camber angle. I can now look forward to reasonable tire life.

The CURE + SOLUTION to the front driveline vibration / rear inner tire wear issue!

I had the n2itive rear camber and toe arms installed/aligned about 2-months ago. I’ve driven over 10,000 miles since, including off-roading in Death Valley, CA. Lowering links recently arrived and are awaiting install.

    KEY POINTS…
1 – These are the highest quality and strongest parts available. Why is this important? Because the previous aftermarket rear camber arms I had installed catastrophically failed and my X became out of control and couldn’t be driven. People could have easily been killed because of those low quality parts I unfortunately had installed on my X.

2 – Don, owner of n2itive, is extremely smart and communicative and wants to be certain that the issue on your car is solved and parts are installed correctly.

3 – In order to ensure you won’t prematurely wear out your front half shafts you’ll need to set “AUTOMATIC LOWERING” to “ALWAYS” + install the lowering links set to -4 or -5 so they reduce the ride height one full setting. This ensures you’re riding at the “Very Low” level at all times, even when towing. Each ride height level above “Very Low” will result in more and more premature front half shaft wear every single second you’re above “Very Low”. So get your new front drive shafts right before you’ve got this entire kit correctly installed on your X.

4 – Be certain that when your alignment is done, that your car is set in the “Low” ride height on the screen and the lowering links are set as specified to -4 or -5.

5 – My X is 4 years old and has over 162,000 miles on it and I am CERTAIN that every single X, and likely S, will and does have this front end driveline vibration issue and inner rear tire wear issue. I’ve driven all these miles myself and gone thru several sets of tires and front half shafts, including Tesla’s supposed “fix” of re-engineered front axle shafts and clevis mount that was recently introduced…. Tesla has no fix.

6 – Your X will be lowered about an inch to solve these issues. Better than your half shafts snapping while driving and / or your rear tires blowing out suddenly which is common on X’s and will happen at low mileage because of the Tesla design flaw with rear camber and front driveline vibration.

7 – You’ll notice that straight line and normal cornering tracking is much improved over stock because of the significantly greater contact patches on the rear tires.

8 – You can see lots of video documentation of these experiences noted on my YouTube channel @ http://aDigitalNomad.net

9 – Feel free to txt / call me at anytime to discuss these issues @ 2402050417 Utilizing these n2itive parts we are in process to hopefully arrive to a mutually agreeable place with Tesla where you can possibly receive reimbursement for your expenses to fix this design flaw and / or not have to put yourself into a moral dilemma with the buying party in order to sell your car if you choose not to have the design flaw fixed.

Thanks n2itive for the important and needed work you’ve done here! Many will benefit!!!

Finally received the rest of my Acceleration Shudder Kit for my Tesla Model X that had been on backorder for a while. The quality is just amazing. I finished the install yesterday and everything went smoothly. I had previously installed their adjustable camber and toe arms so I was just waiting for the RSX-1 links. Since I have an engineering background, they asked me if I would test their prototype links. I was happy to try them out. They worked fine, but these production pieces are really well thought out and refined. The final links were quick to install. Maybe 30-40 minutes. The ride quality is great and the cornering has definitely improved a lot. I was starting to get some shudder when using the OEM sensor links but that’s gone now. Also fwiw mentally it feels better driving my MX now knowing that I’m putting less strain on the half-shafts. The company has been great to work with. They are always timely in their response and very complete and knowledgeable in their answers. Hope this helps someone.

Five stars! Had the camber arms, toe arms and lowering links installed on 2/16/21 for my model x raven. The shutter went away. Overall the ride quality stayed very comfortable. I lowered it by -4/20mm. My vehicle is on standard on surface streets and low on freeways. This will insure my front drive shaft stay aligned solving the shudder issue and rear camber won’t be out of alignment causing premature wear.

Thank you so much for creating your N2itive Acceleration Shudder & Inner Tire Wear Kit for the Tesla Model X and S.

I purchased my Tesla Model X in June of 2020 and by September of 2020 the car had that awful front-end shudder.

After getting your kit installed, I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance of my car! My car is now running at the lower recommended level, thanks to your kit, AND my rear tires are running true (again, thanks to your kit). The car feels smoother and more solid on the road than when I originally purchased it. That’s something I wasn’t expecting.

I’m telling every Model X and S owner I come across about your kit.

Thanks again for creating this fix!

I am only giving you 5 stars because there is no 10 star selection.

I installed the the complete kit consisting of camber arms toe arms and lowering links on my 2020 MX long range which by the way only has 7000 KMS on it. I did not experience the shutter or tire wear as of yet but rather wanted to be pro active on this matter. Considering that I always drive it in low, I didn’t see point in waiting for the inevitable to happen.
The kit is not terribly difficult to install if you have a mechanical background but…. and this is a BIG BUT…. If I did this again it would not be in my driveway on jack stands. I learned the hard way that Tesla’s are an absolute bear to work on in your driveway. There is precious little clearance to get a torque wrench in there with the suspension preloaded. I powered through the install and took my car for alignment yesterday. The first thing I noticed was how much better it was handling, just seems to grip the corners so much better. I set the lowering links to -5 which dropped the ride height a bit lower and it looks way more sleek now.
Don was there every step of the way to answer any questions and point me in the right direction to overcome what ever difficulty I was having during the install. It is great to see a company that backs up the product with support and technical advise.
Over all, this has been the best experience by a long shot I have had with after purchase support from anyone on the planet. Kudos to Don for the outstanding work. Top notch product, top notch installation videos and top notch Don.
If you are going to install adjustable toe and camber arms, I would highly recommend that you get it from N2ITIVE.

As recommended by the alignment shop I used: If you live in Canada or anywhere that salt is used in the winter be sure to spray a water repelling lubricant into the clamping slit and screws of the arms to keep corrosion at bay.

After spending 40 years building street rods for a hobby and working in manufacturing for the same amount of time I can say that these arms and links are some of the best engineered products I have ever used. The form, fit, finish, and function are second to none, and I have used a lot of aftermarket suspension products. The install was simply straight forward and followed a logical progression. After taking my time installing the arms and links on the left rear in 2.5 hours I did the right side in 45 minutes!! I had the shudder before the install and it is now undetectable on low setting! I had gone through a set of tires in 24,000 miles with the inside of the rears being eaten off from the bad camber and toe settings trying to keep the dreaded shudder away. Now after these new arms and an alignment to N2itive specs I fully expect longer tire life.

Just a word about service, Don Ryan will make you feel like you are the only customer he has in the whole world, this guy responds super fast and provides detail and honest concern for your questions, ideas, or comments. He and his company are a HIGH CLASS FIRST RATE business. My only negative, they need to develop more products for our Teslas!!!!!

N2itive aftermarket Tesla camber kit with toe arms and lowering links

    • I had the N2itive rear camber and toe arms installed along with the lowering links a few weeks ago on my 2016 Model X.
    • I had to drive 400 miles to a shop for the work because no one in my area would work on a Tesla. Mainly because they are not familiar with them and because I may be the only Tesla owner in our area. Don called every shop in the closest larger town for me trying to find one, and no luck. Don went way out of his way helping me.
    • After the install of the Kit 1 the shop aligned it at the Standard settings rather than the low settings. He said the N2itive instructions said he could do it either on standard or low, and because I drove over in standard, he aligned it at that setting. I think they misread the instructions. But after 5 hour drive and the several hour wait for the work to be done. I elected to just go home figuring I could always have it re-aligned at home on low if needed.
    • On my way there I couldn’t drive over 70MPH on I-90 because the shudder in the steering wheel was so bad, I thought I would tear up the CV joints, so I drove about 65 in a 70 zone all the way.
    • After the work I drove home at 74 – 75 MPH all the way and it felt awesome, even in standard setting. I did feel a very slight harmonic vibration in the steering wheel at times and when I was on newly paved and smooth highway, I tried lowering the car to the low setting and I still felt the slight vibration so putting it in low didn’t help. I made an appointment at discount tire next Monday to rebalance all 4 wheels and tires and see if this helps even though the tires were new.
    • But at 65MPH on 395 to home, it was rock solid so I won’t know if the balancing helps until the next time I am on I-90.
    • Got the tires rebalanced and it is so smooth, even art 75 – 76 mph.
o Discount told me that all tires have very slight soft and hard spots when they are made so it acts like high and low spots when rolling. So they de-pressured the tires and rotated the tires to match some kind of defect they said all wheels have and then balanced them. Sounded fishy to me but they must be on to something because it is smoother than any vehicle I have owned. Your lowering links were turned out the 5 turns and because the install shop aligned it on standard, I am running it on standard so we will see how it goes.
o When I bought the car a month ago it had 22” wheels and low-profile tires. The first thing I did was to sell them and bought 20” wheels and new tires. Where I live low profile tires are not a good choice due to pot holes and rough roads, especially when the snow is blowing around so the snow hides the pot holes. Also, the ride is much smoother.
    • Before all this work was done, I was averaging around 400 – 450 WH per mile. But now I am averaging between 300 – 340 WH per mile. I am using a lot less electricity to go the same distance and I couldn’t be happier.
    • As I said earlier, Don went way over and above helping me out. I can’t count how many emails we sent back and forth and he was very responsive to my questions.
    • I am 67 and when I was younger a friend and I ran a 69 Camaro at the drags and I have worked on the diesels I have owned sense then and I was very impressed with the build quality of the lowering links and the rear camber and toe arms and I would recommend their products to anyone. They may cost a bit, but in the long run, the cost is mush less than tires every 8,000 miles or so and the cost of the drive shafts, besides having one of them break or a tire blow out.

I’m a mechanic and have extensive experience working on Teslas. Last year I installed EV Tuning’s adjustable camber and toe arms on my Model S, but they are garbage. After about year I noticed that the negative camber had become quite extreme and the ride quality was not right. I took my back wheels off to review the EV Tuning arms and noticed the bushings were completely torn and not holding in place. All four bushings were destroyed after only 8-10K miles.
Fast forward I received my N2itive camber and toe arms and lowering links and I must say the craftsmanship is beyond incredible! Side by side there is no comparison. The quality is amazing. You get what you pay for and the customer support is great too. I’ve recommended N2itive parts to several Tesla owners!

Working with Don was great! I’m from Chicago area and the first thing I needed was a shop willing to a Tesla wheel alignment with adjustable arms. Don took care of finding me a shop (Touge Works in Wheeling). Next I needed some advice (i.e. handholding) throughout the installation, he was super responsive. Just an all around nice guy and exactly the kind of company / individual you want to do business with. Super professional!

After my Kit 1 install and alignment according to Don’s / N2itive’s specs, the car rides soooooo much better. Feel super tight around the corners and I love the new right height. Highly recommend this kit if you’re experiencing on or both of the rear inner tire wear problems and the shudder problem. I wasn’t experiencing shudder but decided to be proactive and get the lowering links. I had really bad rear inner tire wear, which was a serious safety issue. I’ll make an update here once I get a chance to put a few thousand miles on the new rear tires I’m having installed tomorrow.

Thanks again Don! Was awesome working with you!

I originally heard about the Model X and S shudder and half-shaft problems due to the stock design and the limited adjustability of the camber arms, toe arms, and lowering links.
This was of great concern because I didn’t want a serious safety issue and secondly, I didn’t want to be buying 21” tires 3 times a year.
After extensive research I kept coming up with the “N2ITIVE” product and a lot of positive feedback on their products design and durability.
Finally, I decided I wanted to speak to someone about this product and hear what they had to say. I reached out to Don, and he was extremely helpful and open to answering all of my questions. After our conversation I felt comfortable enough that I ordered the full kit, the Camber Arms, Toe Arms, and Lowering Links.
When the kit arrived, which was quickly, I was more than impressed. I am not a mechanic, but I can tell quality when I see and touch it. These camber arms, toe arms, and lowering links were at first glance TOP NOTCH.
So I immediately reached out to Don to see if he had or knew anyone in my area, Tampa Florida, that could install them for me. He gave me a couple of names and his feed-back on each of the shops. I called and after speaking to the owners went with one that on works on high-end performance and race cars. My research on this shop was also impressive so I felt comfortable for them to do the work.
When I dropped the car off, I again spoke to the owner who gave me a tour of his shop and it is impressive with what they do and the shop in general, very high end.
Fast-forward to later that day when my car is complete, and I receive the call to pick it up. When I got there, I was asking the owner about the quality and design of these camber arms, toe arms, and lowering links. He said they are VERY HIGH QUALITY and as High End of any he has ever seen. He said you could tell the company DID NOT cut any corners in the design, material, or function of this products, he said they were an extremely high-quality product.
After that endorsement I was 100% confident that I made the correct choice. My car drives great, I feel much more comfortable that my car is safer and that I will get the full life of my tires without any pre-mature wear caused from the stock camber arms, toe arms, and lowering links.
I can’t thank Don and N2ITIVE enough for what they have done and the quality product and services they offer to the Tesla Community.

The N2itive kit 1 is the best solution to get rid of the acceleration shudder. After getting the front clevis mounts replaced under warranty due to the shudder, I wanted to make sure I can take care of the tread-wear on the tires and not have the shudder come back-up again. Installation of kit 1 eliminates the shudder in its entirety. Acceleration is so smooth now and the car handles way better in corners, round-abouts. The turning radius of the stock-set-up on Model X is wider compared to other SUVs. But with this kit, you get the camber settings on the rear wheels which make it so favorable to take turns.

As other reviewers have stated, the quality of the arms is head and shoulders above the rest including the ones that come natively with the car. The arms are more sturdier and gives you confidence that is well made. I got the steel plated ones.

Attached are some pictures. Go Don and team at ‘Team N2itive’ !

By the way, if you have any questions, Don is out there to guide you and is pleasant to work with. He will be able to answer all your questions, be honest and guide you thru.

My review is being written approximately 1 year after installing N2itive’s Alignment Kit 1 on my Tesla X. The delay was due ONLY to the fact that we have been unfortunately been overwhelmed by some medical issues within the family that consumed all of my time and energy. I’m going to use the word “impressed” a lot in this review!
I live in Ontario, Canada and following extensive research, I was very impressed by the enthusiastic comments on the high quality and durability of the N2itive products. I was experiencing the acceleration shudder, and had the half shaft replaced by Tesla but decided to purchase the kit to guard against the problem recurring so I contacted Don, and was immediately impressed with his knowledge and commitment to his product. Since our medical issues took us down to Florida, Don found a garage that could install the kit near where we would be , and mailed the kit to our friends at that location, then worked with the garage throughout the installation. I was hugely impressed with the tremendous assistance that Don provided in ensuring that the kit would not only be installed correctly, but that the alignment was also done to the specifications required.

I am not a mechanic, but the quality and sturdiness of the arms, when compared to the original product, blew me away. With 2 trips from Canada to south Florida in 9 months, I have put a lot of mileage on them and I feel way more relaxed knowing that they are installed. I am also pleased to report that the inner rear tire wear is significantly better than before.

Thanks for your awesome support throughout a difficult period Don.

If you’re thinking about buying this, stop thinking and order it immediately. This is the single best modification you can get for a Model X (and probably any other Tesla). I’ve owned two Model X’s for over 5 years and I’ve dealt with replacing tires every 10K miles and the awful acceleration shutter, with the Tesla Dealer replacing the propeller shafts on both cars, only to have the issue come back upon exiting the parking lot lol. I finally broke down and spent the money on the N2itive Alignment Kit 1. If I had known how amazing it made the car drive, I would have spent double. This is the way Tesla should have built the car from the factory. This kit not only completely eliminated the shutter, but it also got rid of that weird bouncy feeling it has when driving at speed. The car now feels planted and drives like a dream.

I’m a new customer, but a long-time researcher. Don was not only quick with his replies, but very patient and thorough. He explained everything I’d want to know about the parts, which I hoped would reduce my inner tire wear and shudder for my 2017 Model X.

I’m happy to say I love the results. The X feels “planted” in a way it never has before…or maybe it did when I bought it brand new but can’t remember! Not only that but the installer (Truline in Bellevue WA) noted how robust the parts were and how easy they were to adjust after the updates N2itive made.

Overall I can’t be more pleased with this great product. Highly recommended!!!

As a recent owner of a 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid, I started to hear about the 21″ rear tire wear issues. Research brought me to N2itive as well as a couple other aftermarket manufactures that are making suspension components to address this issue. I chose N2itive for a few reasons. #1, After reviewing all the choices, N2itive lowering links in my opinion are by far the best solution on the market today to lowering your Tesla air suspension. #2, N2itives rear upper camber arm not only is a great value but is also very well made and thought out. Finally the secret sauce is Don at N2itive. Don took his time to call me multiples times and exchange several emails in order to ensure I was set to achieve the best possible outcome not only with installation but complete overall satisfaction throughout the entire process including alignment specs and support. After aligning to N2itives suspension spec sheet, I couldn’t be happier with the feel and handling. Lowering undoubtedly will keep the half shafts happier and the newly found rear suspension adjust-ability should keep the tire wear much more even and the inner rear tire wear issues at bay. Thank you N2itive and Don.

First off, even at less than 17k miles on our 2021 Model X LR+ (build date early 12/2020) the shudder was so pronounced that a visit to Tesla’s Service Department and a ride with a Service Tech yielded them changing out both assembled front driveshafts… which was covered under their Service Bulletin SB-21-39-001. With fresh factory driveshafts and new CV joints, I had Brandon at TruLine (in Bellevue/Seattle, WA) install your Alignment Kit 1 + new wheels and tires (original tires already had enough inner wear that they were a safety concern for the long haul).

One, your Kit is aesthetically pleasing to the eye in the Nickel Finish. Two, engineering, materials used and build quality are second to none. Three, works as advertised so far… you’ve obviously done your research and you know your way around engineering CAD. Brandon at TruLine was just as pleasing to work with. No BS, no drama, is no stranger to installing your Kits and knows what the heck he is doing. He answered all of my questions, was patient and responsive. Just an all around good guy that you can tell takes pride in his work… tough to find out there these days.

Finally, outside of an inherently slightly lower stance after installation, the drive quality has noticeably improved! Of course any shudder/binding noises have ceased… but I wasn’t expecting that much of an enhanced driving experience on such a heavy auto. The thing is glued to the ground, is rock solid in the corners (is equipped with active air-ride from the factory) and really comes to life! I am going to want to drive the wife’s car more often now! Though your Kit isn’t the cheapest, when you get it in your hands you clearly understand why. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I couldn’t be happier with the end result thus far. I can (and will) confidently recommend your Kits and TruLine’s services to anyone in the same Tesla Shudder-Boat as us.

First of all before i give 5 stars on the product,i want to give 10 stars to Don and his crew especially Don who always answers my question on time! Ive waited for a good amount of time for the back order of the Alignment Kit 1 that i ordered but, its worth the wait!!😘🥰 the moment that it was installed i was so happy with my MX performance, the look that i want, the way it drives and i was surprised when i was on the freeway, i didnt even noticed that im already running 90mph, i was shocked and at the same time happy, because before the install, i know im on 75-80mph because the whole car is shaking or vibrating and its f**g scary! It its so sad that i cant even drive the way it was when its brand new, and my MX is just 3 years old! That is why im sharing this experience for the people who has the same problem that i got, dont hesitate, its worth it! I love it! Thank you so much Don!!! And thenk you N2itive!!!

I just wanted to echo what everyone else has been raving about!!

    First, Don is THE MAN!!

I chatted with Don for the better part of 2 months before biting the bullet and getting the top of the line version of the full alignment kit for my 2017 Model X p100d! MAN, the quality of these parts is next level!! As everyone else has already stated, this completely solves the issue of premature tire wear on the back due to being able to properly adjust the camber/toe, all while fixing the shudder by lowering the car to where I would always set mine manually anyway, every drive, extra low 🙂

I cannot recommend n2itive and Don enough to any X or S customer looking to actually get more than 12k miles out of a set of expensive tires 🙂 I actually had the rear flat that many have discussed in their reviews. Was on the way to take my son to school, and the driver rear had worn so much the steel belts were showing and didn’t “BLOW” out and disintegrate, but went from 42 psi down to 5 in about 1/2 a mile 🙂 So it might as well have blown..

This is a MUST HAVE kit for any Model X or Model S owner out there!!!

Very high quality and very effective to get the geometry correct for the Model X. The installation is not difficult, but must be done by someone who will take the time to review the installation video’s so as they dont mess up the ride height sensors, like the baffoon did on mine. Highly recommend Don’s support, products and follow thru.
If you need new haftshafts, get them prior to installation, as Tesla sqeals about not being able to determine the cause of the shudder when they spot the N2itive parts. My bull detector was on full loud hearing this.
In any event, the N2itive kit does what it is designed to do: Minimize CV joint race spalling by allowing the halfsfts to be be more in a straight plane by lowering, and by doing so, allowing the negative camber on the rear tires to be set so you wont be wearing the inside of the tires out so rapidly………
Interview the installer, ask questions you know the answers to because you watched the installation video’s, prior to giving them your key fob or key card and you will be well rewarded with a great product.

The products I’ve been looking for. When you hold the camber arms in your hands you might think these parts are sent from godfather CNC. High quality look and fit.
Concerning the lowering links (they sent me the newest V3) I can tell you this is precision stuff we are talking about.
A lot of MS come with a big difference in height on every wheel and Tesla seems to have a high tolerance on this issue when delivering those MS.
So was my Plaid but not any longer since the lowering links have been installed and every corner could be set to same level.

In todays climate I had a hard time finding many companies who make an outstanding product, fit PERFECT and are willing to talk to you through the day and evening to help answer questions about the install; Then I met N2itive. Don, Tim and the crew have gone above and beyond to create an amazing set of products and then pile on killer customer service. Don was willing to assist with the purchasing to working with me to get the finishing touches for lower links. The S Build we are working on it one step closer to riding smooth and in style. Don’t skimp for other cheaper links.

Thanks to the N2itive team! 10/10!

I purchased the kit for my model x earlier this year. I had it installed and have put 15,000 miles on my tires and have worn evenly and still have 2/3 tread left. Should be able to have 40,000-45,000 miles out of the pirelli tires!

After discovering that our Tesla X had severe negative camber issues, we were forced to buy brand new tires after only six months of use. We tried to find a solution to the problem, that Tesla couldn’t fix and we stumbled upon the high-end products by In2itive. Don at intuitive has been with us every step of the way. He’s been a valuable resource and not only finding a reputable, experienced and trusted mechanic to install the products, but also helps in finding a local alignment shop that was up to the challenge. He even went as far as looking at the alignment measurements print outs. Thanks to this suggestions, we were able to return the vehicle to the alignment shop in order to get the camber issue dialed in even more effectively. I would highly recommend these aftermarket parts and the customer service experience with In2itive has been bar none.
