IMPORTANT: Alignment should be performed in the “Medium” ride height as indicated on your center screen, following our specs. Even if you drive in “Low “, which happens automatically when reaching highway speeds, our alignment specs listed here have taken this change in your suspensions geometry into account! When following our specs in the medium position, you will have perfectly even tire wear at any ride height.

2012-2020 SX-2 Camber Arm Torque Specs: small clamp with T30 Torx = 8-10ft/lbs. with clamp facing down. Large clamp with 8mm Allen bolt = 24 ft/lbs.

2012-2020 TSX-1 Toe Arm Torque Specs: small clamp with T30 Torx = 8-10ft/lbs. with clamps facing down.

Do not adjust or remove the screws that hold the bracket in place!

INSTALLATION OF SX-P2

When aligning the SX-P2 adjustable camber arms you may find the adjuster can be difficult to turn at times. This happens because the adjuster is not in line with the axis of the bushings due to constraints of working within Tesla’s design. To overcome this you can apply pressure to the bottom of the arm with a 2×4 or similar piece of wood and push up from the bottom with a jack. This will relieve the binding and allow the adjuster to turn more freely.

Above: Push up at this point from the bottom of the arm right under the 8mm Allen bolt. Push on the aluminum arm and not the steel rod end.

2021+ SX-P2 Arm Torque Specs: small clamp with T30 Torx = 8-10ft/lbs. with clamp facing down. Large clamp with 8mm Allen bolt = 42 ft/lbs. The arms come set to factory length and loose in the box so you can shorten them to aid in an easy installation if you want. We suggest for street use to lengthen the arm to +7mm after installation and before you set the car down and before it goes on the alignment rack. This will put you in a good ballpark range of great street alignment for even tire wear and you’ll spend less time on the alignment rack. If you have to drive the car to get an alignment, please tighten the two clamps before driving.

Do not adjust or remove the screws that hold the bracket in place, if you have the version with the bracket!

Above is the installation instructions of the our original first version SX-1 and TSX-1 camber and toe arms along with our original RSX-1 lowering links. Installation of RSX-2 links is almost identical with some small changes to the retaining clips and design. Please note that from 2012 to 2020 pre-refreshed S and X there are 2 long links for the rear and 2 shorter links for the front. On the 2021 and later refreshed S and X all 4 links are the same size.
