Description

N2ITIVE is ecstatic to announce the first and only high pressure forged, rear adjustable camber and toe arms for the Tesla Model 3 and Y.  As you’ve come to expect from N2ITIVE, we’re pushing the envelope even further this time in strength, quality, design and functionality.  This design started with our custom engineered, one-piece forged rod ends with integrated weather sealed silent spherical bushings.  These bushings maintain the strength of our original rod ends, being light weight and lower profile since the bushing is now part of the rod end itself.  Our clevis mount on the opposite end is high pressure forged with an embedded, high strength chromoly adjustment rod to ensure your arms never bend or break under the most demanding circumstances.  The cylindrical center adjuster allows for super easy adjustment from any alignment shop which is securely stabilized by dual end clamps.

Both our adjustable camber and toe arms allow you to dial in the ideal alignment with the least rolling resistance to optimize the life of your tires and battery, for better handling performance on the track, or somewhere in between.  Installation is quite simple and can be performed by an experienced home mechanic or from a local alignment shop experienced with aftermarket control arms.  These parts will quickly pay for themselves in the cost of tires alone, and we can help you every step of the way from selecting the right N2ITIVE parts to finding an installer.  We’re here to help and get your Tesla aligned right.

N2ITIVE’s new adjustable rear camber arms come in three variations
-Natural clear and red anodized finishes: 3-year warranty and high pressure forged, machined, and heat treated using high strength 6061-T6 aluminum and 4041 electroless nickel plated chromoly.
-Full electroless nickel plated version: lifetime warranty, almost double the tensile strength 7075-T6 aluminum center adjuster and an incredible finish.  In addition to being substantially stronger, this version has an amazing bright black nickel plated finish for improved corrosion resistance and insane looks.

Why Choose N2ITIVE
At N2ITIVE we give you the highest quality parts and craftsmanship at a reasonable price. Everything we create is meticulously thought-out, precision engineered and tested in both FEA and the real world!  All of our components are custom made, nothing off the shelf.  Our bushings for example are made in a dedicated factor with high strength steel that’s been electroless nickel plated for amazing wear and corrosion resistance.  Each bushing incorporates a Teflon infused Delrin liner for a lifetime of trouble-free, maintenance-free use.  You can count on us to only give you the best with our parts, backed with a hassle-free warranty to the original purchaser. Our products are the strongest, safest and most durable aftermarket Tesla parts you can buy, guaranteed!  Not to mention that they look incredible…

Installation

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 3Y-2

Estimated Labor: 1-2 hours
Parts and Tools Necessary:
-18mm, 21mm wrenches and sockets
-T30 Torx bit
-30mm or Crescent Wrench
-Torque Wrench

REMOVAL
1. Jack the vehicle up from the appropriate lift areas, as shown below. Using lift pads between the jack and the vehicle’s frame is highly recommended in order to avoid damaging the vehicle.
2. Loosen the lug nuts (21mm) and remove the wheel.
3. Remove the nut and bolt that connect the camber arm to the knuckle (18mm).
4. Remove the nut and bolt that connect the camber arm to the subframe (18mm).
5. Remove the camber arm from the vehicle. If you are having trouble removing the camber arms, rocking the knuckle/hub may aid in loosening and removing the arm.

INSTALLATION
1. Realign and hand-tighten the nuts and bolts in their original positions. DO NOT torque the nuts or bolts at this stage.
2. Preload the suspension before torquing down the bolts. This can be done by jacking the knuckle up until the suspension is fully loaded. The car itself should feel like it is about to lift, and the hub should be positioned in the wheel well as if the car was sitting on the floor. This step is critical in ensuring the bushings are correctly positioned when you drive the car.
3. Once preloaded, torque the bolts down to their appropriate settings. Both bolts should be torqued to 99 ft/lbs (134 Nm).
4. Remount the wheels back on the vehicle and torque down the lug nuts to 129 ft/lbs (175 Nm). Make sure to remove all jack stands and tools from under the vehicle before you let it down.

ADJUSTMENT
-Adjustment of the 3Y-2 is to be made using a 30mm or crescent wrench.
-Loosen the two T30 Torx bolts on the black collars. Both of these bolts must be loose for adjustment to be made.
-Tighten or rotate the adjuster clockwise in order to increase negative camber. Loosening or rotating the adjuster counter-clockwise will reduce negative camber.
-Once you are done adjusting, torque the T30 bolts to spec. Both bolts should be tightened to 8 ft/lbs or 11 Nm. Make sure the collar with the T30 is aligned with the rod end to avoid damage while driving.

What is the difference of a $298 rear camber arm vs $444 rear camber arm for Model Y performance?

I couldn’t be happier with the N2itive camber and toe arms on our Model 3 and X Plaid! My first set of stock tires barely made it to 10,000 miles before showing extreme uneven wear. Since upgrading to N2itive, my Yokohama tires are now at 20,000 miles with perfectly even tread wear across the board. The difference is night and day—better handling, smoother ride, and the peace of mind knowing I’m getting the full life out of my tires. These arms are a must-have for any Tesla owner looking to protect their investment. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Model Y camber arms because the inside of my rear tires would be bald with plenty of tread on the rear of the tire. I easily installed these myself in about an hour. The quality is great, the fit is perfect and they reduced that negative camber causing premature wear on my tires. These will pay for themselves in no time. I estimate I can get another 10k miles out of my tires. I had concerns about handling and cornering but I noticed “0” changes.
I had some questions about the product and specs on the Y before and after I purchased them. The guys at N2itive got back to me quick and answered all my questions. I’ve recommended these to my friends who own Teslas and I’ll recommend them to anyone who has one.
